How to Book!


1) Travel Insurance

We do not insist you buy insurance from us. We do however offer very good terms for the required level of cover, and ask you to confirm in writing that we advised you to take out adequate insurance cover if you choose not to buy from us (Sorry, EU Regulations).
2) Payment can be made by all major credit cards

If you would like to make a booking you can make a payment by credit card. We accept most UK issued credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Card and Switch. Alternatively you can pay by cheque, bank draft or bank transfer.
3) Tickets delivery:

Your tickets will be issued on receipt of cleared funds and mailed to you by return. For last minute bookings, we use the Royal Mail's special delivery service for which an additional charge will apply. In certain cases we are able to arrange for your ticket to be waiting for you at your departure airport or train station Please contact us for further information.
4) Travellers cheques and Foreign Currency:

We can supply travellers cheques and foreign currency for holidays and leisure travel booked through the Northenden Siemens leisure programme.
5) Advice on Passports and Visas:

We will advise travellers of any passport and visa requirements at the earliest opportunity. Non-UK passport holders should advise us to ensure we provide the correct information.

We provide a facility for obtaining visas where requested and personal attendance at the Embassy is not mandatory.

Data Protection

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide (such as name, address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc). Because your privacy is important to us, we do not disclose your details or information given to any third party.

We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as airlines, hotels, transport companies etc. The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.  

Additionally, where your holiday is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country. We will not however, pass any information onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities, or dietary/religious requirements. (If we cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your booking. In making this booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.) 


Service Level Agreement

1)      Our Consultants are all highly qualified travel professionals. Every Consultant undergoes extensive customer service and quality assurance training.

Our clients aren't kept waiting. Every phone, fax or email inquiry is returned promptly. Telephone calls are answered within five rings, and you will never be on hold longer than 30 seconds without prior agreement.


3)     
All reservations are error-free, subject to our multi-point Quality Assurance Check and reconfirmed by phone, fax or email prior to documentation.

4)     
Travel documents are 100% accurate and worry free, subject to our multi-point Quality Assurance Check prior to delivery, complete with our 'no surprises' travel itinerary information.

5)     
We commit to providing the best possible fares and value without compromising service or quality.

6)     
As a VIP client, Siemens will be given access to the services of an Account Manager.

).     Every client's experience with us is important. We monitor this with Quality Control Cards and closely monitor our performance with our Complete Customer Care Programme

We will respond to any service complaint within 48 hours and the Managing Director is directly available if necessary to resolve any complaint.


Our commitment to our customers:

The Siemens Leisure Programme provides holidays and leisure breaks for Siemens employees and their families. Exclusive offers are shown on a dedicated web-site linked to the Siemens Intranet. The programme is provided by the Northenden Travel Group.
1)  The Cheshire Travel Centre is a high street holiday shop which provides expert advice and special terms on packaged and tailor-made holidays.  
2)  Far East Gateways is our own premium quality tour operator with a specialist tailor-made programme to China , Hong Kong , Indonesia , Malaysia , The Maldives, Thailand and elsewhere.  
3Fan Fare Events and USA Sports Tours take sports fans to see top class sports events world-wide – Italian league football, the Cricket World Cup, Hong Kong 7s, golf, tennis, baseball etc.  
4)  Flight-seats offer flight-only discounted fares for holidays to all destinations.

The team at the Cheshire Travel Centre will also search for package holidays and propose tailor-made solutions where these provide better value for money or attractive alternatives

Our long-haul and sports specialist tailor-made tour operations divisions prepare regular exclusive offers for the Siemens programme and will offer advantageous terms on all holidays.

Flight-seats access net fares from over forty traditional scheduled airlines, as well as charter and no-frills fares for Siemens employees.  

Eligibility
The Siemens Leisure Programme is available to all Siemens UK employees, Siemens pensioners, and friends and family who accompany the Siemens employee or pensioner on the holiday, using the same travel and accommodation arrangements.  

Access
The Operations Centre is open to take reservations and handle enquiries from 0900-1730 each weekday, and from 0930 to 1630 on Saturdays apart from Bank Holiday periods. A
ppointments with the Cheshire Travel Centre holiday shop are available at these times. Appointments with Gateways and Fan Fare Events are usually available on weekdays only.

Out of these hours leave a telephone message or e-mail enquiry we will respond promptly during our open hours.


The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority, and we act as agents for licensed tour operators; the relevant ATOL number is displayed with each holiday shown. The flight bookings we make are also ATOL protected, except when tickets for scheduled flights are sent to you within 24 hours of payment being accepted, or where your payment is made direct to airlines.
