Over the past few years we have grown our business to become one of the most comprehensive travel services in the region with a product range that is second to none.

A family business

Northenden Travel was established in 1983 and is still family owned and managed, the company incorporates two separate tour operating departments alongside a high street retail holiday shop. 

Directors Nigel and Jeni Schofield are supported by a team of over 40 people. Each member of staff is highly experienced in sourcing the best value from the world's leading operators, airlines and travel suppliers.

We are an independent travel specialist. Our independence allows us to offer the widest range of options for all our clients. We have built the business by trading with integrity and offering a better service where quality, creativity, flexibility and value for money are the watchwords.

Our customers

The most important people in our business are our customers, of whom over 75% came to us by recommendation. Northenden Travel Limited also counts amongst it’s clientele companies ranging from sole traders to major PLC’s as well as many of the UK’s leading Universities, Colleges of Further Education and Chambers of Commerce.

Security

For the total security of our clients we are both travel agent and tour operator members of ABTA and are licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority under their ATOL bonding scheme which protects consumers in case of failure. We are also members of IATA, the Pacific Asia Travel Association, the East Asia Travel Association and PSARA, the Passenger Retail Shipping Association.
